TRADITIONAL CELTIC CROSS SPREAD

With the Celtic Cross the 10th Tarot Card, represented by Card 76/4 the Eight of Pentacles is also the “official”, outcome card.  “Ambitious Renovation”, are Tarot Dynamics keywords for Card 76, and while Pentacles signal economic and emotional concerns -- every Eight in the Tarot pertains to opportunities and situations that have, or could change your life. Assuming, that our seekers situation, and the first 9 cards are both relatively positive, any reader is more likely to predict an immediately happy outcome. Yet, by reading Card 76 as 76/4 the Number 4 implies the seeker will also have other factors to consider, or other matters to complete, before they can proceed as directly, or quickly as they may wish. So it would be in the seekers best interest for the reader to perhaps, modify their timeframe.

When working with the Celtic Cross, although the 10th Tarot Card is the “official” designated outcome card, there are no hard and fast rules.  Many years ago I began reading the 5th and 10th Tarot cards together as my designated outcome cards—simply because they work best for my readings.

However, when dealing with seekers whose history consists of more potential and opportunity than confidence, or; whose “comfort-zone” is changing through matters beyond their control, reading the trigger numbers for the 1st and 10th Tarot Cards in the Celtic Cross can enable you to determine whether the seeker is more or less prepared to deal with the outcome – if they choose to let matters lie, or on move on in life.

NOTE* Attempting to interpret the bottom number for all 10 cards WILL prove more hazardous than helpful in to maintaining your focus AND intuitive clarity.
