The Empress is not your fairy godmother.  One of her chief concerns is to help you maintain, or devise an effective manner of handling material resources, opportunities and information that could impact your long-range goals.  So whenever she comes to call, in your reading, you’d be wise to avoid any temptation to lull yourself into a false sense of security.  The better you feel about yourself the more certain you are to succeed with matters that come to mean the most to you.  However, allowing egotism to masquerade as optimism also pave the way to self-indulgence.   Whether from the Major or Minor Arcana all 3’s stimulate your thinking and networking abilities. 3’s are all about how you absorb and react to whatever is happening to you and around you.

FOR NEW STUDENTS: With Card 3 the keyword, “Karma” suggests that a personal strength, namely, your optimism, or perhaps your confidence is about to be tested, rewarded or called upon, while “Thinking & Networking” imply that whatever your situation, your mindset or moods are more likely than usual to help or hinder your communications now.
